about me

I am a multi-disciplined artist who is able to create art through various techniques including painting, photography, mixed media and printmaking, which I specialised in at university. I am excited by the possibilities of different materials and how their properties can determine a final outcome.
Which ever medium I am using, pattern and colour always feature heavily in my work. I am currently developing a body of artwork infusing vintage wallpaper designs, fabrics and nature. They are heavily influenced by the patterns and colours of the Arts and Crafts Movement, in particular the wallpaper designs of William Morris.
As well as producing artwork, I also hold qualified teacher status in Art and Design and run art based workshops. These workshops are in a variety of art techniques and to people from all backgrounds, ages, ethnicity and gender. For further information please contact me through the contacts page or go to the 'School of Everything' on the links page for further details.
